UNLEASH THE BEAST TRAINING PROGRAM
 


The UNLEASH THE BEAST training program kicks off on May 7. We will be sending out weekly emails that outline the schedule for each week, but here is everything you need to know for this week. Training is mandatory and all players will need to have access to the Gorilla Training App. If you have any issues with technology or internet/mobile access, please email .


THURSDAY: CUSTOM STICK SKILL PRACTICE #1 (INTRO VIDEO)
The first Custom Skill Practice designed by Coach Jim Connolly will be released to the Gorilla Training App tomorrow morning. Players are to practice the skill for 3 days meaning on Thursday, Friday and Saturday to master it. Then, at end of your practice on Saturday, all players must upload a video of themselves completing the skill onto the Gorilla Training App for our coaches to review. Videos must be uploaded after 3 practices (not before) and no later than 6:00 p.m. on the day it's due. Coaches will be reviewing the videos and providing feedback directly on the app. Coaches will be reaching out directly by phone to any players who did not complete the assignment.

What Players Need For Custom Skill Practice #1
- Workout clothes (no body equipment is needed)
- Bucket of Lacrosse Balls
- Wall or Bounce Back
- Tape (to form a box on the wall or bounce back)

FRIDAY: CUSTOM SPEED & AGILITY TRAINING #1 (INTRO VIDEO)
The first Custom Speed & Agility Training designed by Coach Nate Busa will be released to the Gorilla Training App. Players are to practice the speed & agility skill for 3 days on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to master it. Then at the end of your practice on Sunday all players must upload a video of themselves completing the skill onto the Gorilla App for our coaches to review. Videos must be uploaded after 3 practices (not before) and no later than 6:00 p.m. on the day it's due.

What Players Need For Custom Speed & Agility Training #1

Sneakers & Workout clothes (players should not wear cleats)
- Jump Rope
- Stopwatch or mobile device that has an application that can be used as a stopwatch
- Water to hydrate

For next week speed & agility trainings, players will need an agility ladder and a set of cones (or anything that could take the place of cones socks, tin can etc). Please plan accordingly.

SATURDAY: BEAST MODE HIGH INTENSITY LIVE WORKOUT
Coach Nate Busa will be live at his Nonantum Boxing Club to host a live ZOOM Beast Mode High Intensity Workout at 11:00 a.m.. Players will need to log into the Zoom meeting using the credentails below. Players should prepare a workout space in their home (either indoors or outdoors), so that they have a good view of Coach Busa and can hear Coach Busa's instructions through the mobile device. All players will be required to have their video screen ON so that our coaches can monitor your progress. Phones should be propped up so that our coaches can see you.
